If you are coming to Hoot, please come prepared. If you plan to cook, bring either a camp stove or covered barbeque grill. Burn only charcoal in it. No fires may be made on the ground. No wood fires will be permitted at all due to spark issues.

UNLESS we get rain! And lots of it. Currently, the weather forecast is calling for low 90s during the day; high 60s at night; and dry, dry, dry. We all know the weather witches may not leave it that way (although the temps are good)... so also pack some tarps.

What to Bring

This will be our 7th year of the Hoot! It will be our 6th year at Heritage Park. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. Remember to bring your bathing suits and fans!

We hosted the First Annual Hoot 'n' Any Pagan Gathering the first weekend in August 2001 at our home in Heathsville, Virginia. Approximately 25 friends and family members attended.

We decided it was time to offer an even bigger and better gathering for Pagan folk in the Northern Neck of Virginia and we are now in our 6th year. With the Blessings of the Lady and Lord, this will continue to be an annual event.

Final head count for Hoot 2002 was 54 folks, 6 dogs, and a handful of Native American souls.

Final head count for Hoot 2003 was 79 folks, numerous dogs, one cat on a leash, two hermit crabs and the Native American Spirits.

Final head count for Hoot 2004 was 63 folks, several dogs, one cat, a ferret and our Native American friends from years past.

Final head count for Hoot 2005 was 35 folks, 3 dogs and our usual Native American Spirits. We were down in number physically (due to a date change), but we had one of the most Magickal Hoots yet!

Final head count for Hoot 2006 was 63 folks, 3 dogs and a young male spirit and the usual Native American Spirits. It was hot as heck (and we now have tee-shirts to prove it -- see link below), but we had a great time.
