Check back here before you actually leave. VDOT is replacing
the little bridge as you come from Warsaw towards the campground. There is a
detour. It is marked. Stay alert and follow the signs. This will add about 15 to
20 minutes to your travel time.
Those of you who are
pre-registered, we will see you there! Blessings on you for safe travel. A
reminder: When you get to the campground, just come down the hill (follow signs)
and check-in. The campground folks will let you bypass the gatehouse if you are
with us. Please don't wake them if you arrive in the night. If
you arrive after midnight, find yourself a campsite and come back and check in
at the registration table as close to dawn as you can manage. The registration
table will be located at campsite #1 (first electric site as you come into the
actual camping area).
We will put a sign up at the front entry. And signs down the hill to the
campsites.
Then proceed down the hill to the campground. Please
drive slowly down the hill as the road is very rough and has had many
repairs and needs more.
