Electric sites MUST be paid in advance. No payment at the gate for electric sites.

I must make a small comment here just to help folks understand... if you can pre-register and pre-pay, this helps a lot with preparation. If you want electric you MUST send money in advance. Two years ago we increased the price just a little bit so we can establish a small savings account just for Hoot to feed off of in years to come. There are a number of costs that must be paid up front (campground deposit, paper products, first aid supplies, buttons, etc. Costs have increased due to electric and oil price increases, only 1.00 per night for primitive camping but 5.00 per night for electric sites.

This year we had a few camping sites let over. With your help we are hoping to take over the whole campground. We decided not to reserve the stage this year and will build a "WIND TUNNEL" in the campsite across from the registration table. This will be our "staging area" and the center of all activities. Folks who want to may primitive camp up in the top near the stage all the way around to the bathhouse. If you bring a friend and want to camp in the electric site, this should save you a few bucks. Children under age 4 are free.

Due to the high demand for Electric sites, these costs must be paid in advance to secure your reservation. Converters for the outlets are available or you can bring your own converter.

Tent camping is primitive camping. No Electricity or water hookups but water is available at electric sites.

Additional people in electric (after 2 people) is $10.50/night + one time $5 reg. fee per person.

Electric site price is figured for 2 people. Each additional see above.

The rates above include the $5.00 registration fee per person.

Please contact us early if you want to rent an electric site. There is a limited number (about 11 not counting the vendor area). Contact us as soon as possible to make a pre-paid reservation for an electric hookup site. Now that we know an electric fan makes 90+ degree temperatures bearable, the electric sites will go fast. You MUST pre-pay to hold an electric site.

We must have everyone's full legal name who might be coming (even if you plan to pay at the gate) by July 15th. We are screening for convicted sex offenders and folks on supervised probation -- they will not be permitted to attend.

We are going to offer different ways to do this...

1. We have eliminated the print form. Everyone gets to register on-line this year.

2. Informal Registration: Send us an email with the following information: Your legal name (first and last), Your mailing address, The number of people you expect to have in your party, Your email address (in case we have a question). I will write back and let you know how much and where to mail your check. We will have you finish your registration when you arrive.

3. On-line Form: This still requires that you mail us a check.

Remember there will be a pool available so pack your bathing suits and bring your fishing license and tackle if you want to hook your own breakfast. There is a public boat launch available so if your inclined to bring a canoe or kayaks to cruise the rivers you can do so. Bird watching in this area is outstanding so you may want to bring along some binoculars.
