In 2010 the day time temperatures exceeded 100 degrees. Bring very cool clothing. We will set up a fan bank in our main gathering area at the top of the electric sites but it is recommended that you bring your own fans for your site (if you get electric).

Wearables

Cool, comfortable clothing (it will more than likely be hot) (Ken highly recommends sarongs and wrap pants)
Sandals, tennis shoes... the road is paved with gravel and it a bit hard on bare feet
    Bathing suit (remember the pool!)
Towel(s) ... for showers and pool
Toiletries ... you know what these are
    Ritual clothing or garb
    Dancing clothes

Camping Equipment

    Tent (with rain fly)
    Canopy or extra tarps
Bungee cords (for securing stuff to trees ... does less damage than string or rope and is easily removed)
Folding chairs (one for each person).
Cooking equipment (we will provide coffee in the morning and Stone Soup w/ bread on Saturday eve... potluck is highly likely on Friday evening) Most folks actually manage NOT to cook throughout this event since most meals are included and it's too hot to eat midday.
Bedding (unless you like sleeping on the ground)
    Bug repellant
    Flashlight

Fans if you are in an electric site. Or bring fans to share in the main gathering area.

Camping plates, cups, utensils -- in year's past we have provided throw-aways at the main meals but we are going to provide a washing station instead this year in attempts to be more responsible about waste and protecting Mother Earth.

Instruments & Music

If you play an instrument, bring it.
If you want to learn to play an instrument, bring it (somebody can probably offer an impromptu lesson)
Drums and percussion instruments (you will want these at drum circles)
Your voice. We love those sing-along songs...
Music and songs and poetry you have written and want to share

Consumables

WATER containers. Drinkable water is available at electric sites and the bathhouse but you will need something to carry it in.
Whatever kind of food you like to eat. Remember it will be hot and perishables should be keep on ice
Snack foods (salty is good if you are permitted by your health). If you are bringing short people you will want to tuck in extra snack foods that are reasonably healthy for them to share with their buddies where ever the kids decide to gather. The Hoot will provide some junk food (small bags of chips) for them there as well.
Stone Soup ingredient -- potatoes, carrots, celery, ... one item, cut up and ready for the pot. If you are bringing meat, please make sure it is frozen when you arrive. We don't want to poison anyone
Any personal medication you may need

Money for ice, and buying cool stuff from the vendors.

Pet Items

    WATER
    Leash
    Travel box
    Bedding
    Food
    Any medication they may need

Short People Items

    Games to share

    Bathing suits & towels
Bikes (if you can squeeze it in with all the other stuff)
    Snacks
    Water
